Erick K. Hohenegger


Erick is a Colorado native. He received his baccalaureate degree in Philosophy from Metropolitan State University in 1997 and his law degree from Seattle University in 2001. 


Erick worked as a regulator for several years with the Washington State Insurance Commissioner before moving to Grand Junction, Colorado in 2003 where he worked for the firm Elder & Phillips, P.C., practicing primarily in the areas of real estate, construction, collections and landlord-tenant law.  In 2008, he began investigating employment discrimination for the State of Colorado.


In 2012, he moved to Golden, Colorado to work for the United States Department of Interior enforcing oil and gas laws.  In 2014, Erick opened the doors of The Law Office of Erick K. Hohenegger, LLC, in Golden, Colorado, where he practiced primarily Real Estate and Employment Discrimination law.  He currently works at The Law Office of Richard L. Garnett, P.C. in Idaho Springs, Colorado.


Erick has represented realtors and common interest communities, and lectured and written articles on Real Estate law for Realtor associations. He has also taught and lectured extensively, to both employers and employees, on Employment Discrimination law. 


In addition to his legal work, Erick loves to spend as much time as possible outdoors with his wife and two boys.
